Seattle Beer Week!

Seattle Beer Week is almost here!  Every year SBW events highlight Washington beer and great places to have great beer in and around Seattle.  This year we actually get to participate!

I remember sitting up at Naked City last year thinking, I wonder if I'll still be a civilian during next SBW.  After a long and ultimately rewarding process, team Populuxe is proud to be taking part in this years festivities representing the new breed of Washington craft breweries.

Here's our complete list SBW events:

5/10 - Nanobreweries of Washington @ Naked City.  We're bringing kegs of our DIPA and CDA to Naked city that night, but we'll let them figure out which one to put on.  Don and co. have always been an inspiration to the Populuxe crew and we're super excited to represent Ballard along side Peddler and Urban Family.  Also eager to try some great beer from Soos Creek, Strong Arm and the other hard to get brews.

5/12 - Two events!  In the morning, it's Take Your Mom Out for a Beer, a benefit for the Pink Boots Society.  Amy and Judy will be serving up our Wit and Brown at what is sure to be a good time.  Later that day we'll be at the Brave Horse Tavern in South Lake Union for Newbies Night.  Our DIPA, CDA and Bitter will be around as well as, it would appear, fried chicken.  mmmm....chicken and beer!

5/13 - The Women in Beer event at Pike Brewing.  If you've seen the posters up in the tasting room, you know how cool this is going to be.  Stoudt brewing, tons of great local beer and amazing food.  All that and Populuxe Saison!

5/14 - Ballard Breweries at Urban Family.  A Ballard Breweries tap takeover at Urban Family on Old Ballard Ave.  Urban Family is a great place and we're stoked to have them serving Populuxe beer during SBW.

All that and possibly a little bit more, which we'll announce on Facebook and Twitter at the last minute because...buzz marketing?  I'm not sure.  We're better at making beer than the social medias.  Anyway, clear your calenders and start doing your liver cleanse for SBW5.  It's gonna be a great time!
